Liguria lies in the north west of Italy surrounded by steep mountains and stunning townships. The region is famous for its Taggiasca black olives which produce the most amazing Extra Virgin Olive Oil.

Taggiasca olives were carefully selected by the local monks five centuries ago. The region regard Taggiasca oil as a medicinal elixir and the solution to all cures.

People with toothaches will rinse their mouth with it. Others with bad indigestion will sip a spoonful before a meal and those organising a drink night will take some beforehand to line their stomachs.
