PICCOLO PROSECCO
Prosecco is a variety of white grape grown in the Veneto region of Italy, and also gives its name to the sparkling wine made from the grape.
It's a mistake to compare Prosecco to Champagne. They are made from very different grapes that produce very different sparkling wines. Champagne's flavor is intentionally bready, whereas Prosecco is characterized by light and persistent fruitiness, and a gentle and lingering aroma of almonds, apples, and pears.
SHARE WITH FRIENDS. In Italy, Prosecco is enjoyed as frequently and easily as Mineral water and it's gratifying to turn casual wine drinkers on to Prosecco, as many just don't have it on their radar.
Like other sparkling wines, Prosecco is served chilled. Most commonly it is served unmixed, but it also appears in several mixed drinks.
It was the original main ingredient in the Bellini cocktail, a great find like Foss Marai Prosecco is worth raising a glass to ……… Salute!
